- Integrated Fall Protection: Our services are supported by a deep understanding of advanced height safety systems, including the use and integration of high-quality equipment like SecuRope® lifelines. We don’t just work at height; we establish the safest possible working environment.
- Bespoke Solutions: Leveraging our engineering knowledge, we tackle unique access challenges, even providing custom-made solutions where standard methods are unsuitable.
Unrivalled Service & Efficiency
We pride ourselves on providing a service that is not only safe but also streamlined and responsive to your project’s needs.
- Minimised Disruption: Rope access drastically reduces the need for expensive and time-consuming scaffolding or heavy machinery, leading to faster deployment and less operational downtime for your business.
- Versatile Applications: Our flexibility allows us to service virtually any structure or location, from facade inspections and cleaning to critical structural repairs and maintenance.
- Commitment to Compliance: All our work is executed in strict compliance with relevant standards, including EN 795:2012 Type C and other regional safety regulations, ensuring your project meets all legal and safety requirements.
Safety First: Technical Standards in Work at Height
Our operational safety is built on a foundation of engineering principle and strict adherence to best practices, ensuring maximum protection for our team and your property.
Understanding Fall Safety
We meticulously plan every job to maintain the highest levels of safety, focusing on critical factors like:
- Fall Factor: Calculated as the Distance Fallen divided by the Length of the Lanyard/Rope. We strive to keep this factor as low as possible (ranging from 0 to 2), as a lower fall factor guarantees a safer fall.
- Fall Clearance: This is the crucial calculation to ensure that a falling person does not strike an obstacle below. We guarantee that the Required Fall Clearance is always less than the Available Fall Clearance on site. The required clearance is the sum of lifeline deflection, lanyard length, energy absorber braking distance, user height, and safety height, minus the distance between the lifeline and the edge.
Minimising Swing Fall Hazard
For any work requiring lateral movement, we assess the risk of a pendulum effect. To minimize this, we implement procedures to limit the lateral movement, recommending a maximum angle of $30^{\circ}$ with respect to the anchorage system to keep workers out of the danger zone.
Safety System Choice: We employ Personal Fall Arrest Systems to minimize injury in the event of a fall, and Fall Restraint Systems to proactively prevent a worker from even reaching a fall hazard area. Collective protection is used wherever feasible to secure the working area for all involved.
Height Safety Systems & Expertise: Beyond the Ropes
Our core expertise lies in providing access to install, inspect, and maintain permanent Height Safety Systems. This includes our proficiency with state-of-the-art products like the SecuRope® horizontal and overhead lifelines, which offer:
- Robust Safety: Systems compliant with major international standards, suitable for up to 4 users (EN).
- Advanced Features: Featuring undeformable, energy-absorbing anchors (like the LDV043 NEO and LDV155 TEVO) and smooth-gliding components for free movement across anchors.
- Versatility: Solutions for various applications, including horizontal systems (e.g., directly on concrete) and overhead configurations, often used in industry for works above machinery.
