The Unipost may be installed on several types of roofing thanks to its universal fixing interface in a laser-cut plate. It is usable on concrete, hollow concrete, cold deck, hot deck, and wooden roofs. Installation on trapezoidal metal sheet is made easy thanks to its dedicated self-drilling screws. The “one post for most supports” concept reduces the components needed in stock and simplifies rigging and installation on-site. The Unipost can also be used as a standalone fixing assembly for a single anchor point.
The post is semi-rigid and is designed to deform in the event of a fall. Crucially, an energy absorbing device located at the foot of the post ensures that only the post tube deforms, and not the fixing interface, protecting the roofing from damage when stopping a fall. The system is approved for up to 2 users simultaneously and allows for a maximum span of 10m between posts. Furthermore, the Unipost can be mounted before the insulation is installed, enabling secure movement and work positioning on the construction site from an early stage.

The Unipost is primarily used to establish permanent, secure horizontal fall arrest lifelines on finished or under-construction roofs, including: Flat and Low-Slope Roofs (especially when supporting materials vary), Metal Decking and Trapezoidal Sheets, New Build Projects (for early installation of safety measures), Precast Hollow Roofs, and Wooden Roof Structures.
