Our rope access services team was enlisted by a London-based cleaning company to undertake an urgent cleaning project at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow. This assignment was crucial for the filming of a promotional video for Listerine, part of Secret Glasgow’s “We Miss You…” campaign.

Originally, another rope access company was scheduled to complete this project but failed to deliver, prompting us to step in at the last minute.

The Mitchell Library is one of Glasgow’s historic landmarks but with traffic pollution, air pollution and vegetation growth, the buildings stonework has become faded and dull. The building required meticulous cleaning to ensure it looked its best for the high-profile Listerine video. With the initial abseiling company backing out last minute, the London based cleaning company needed an immediate solution. We used DOFF Steam Cleaning for the effective cleaning of the Mitchell Libraries delicate stonework without causing damage.
