Abseiling Services are an honest and purposeful company, we understand fully that we cannot learn and grow if we do not listen to all our staff.

We are heavily invested in human factors and the ergonomics and movement of our team, we pride our business and our abilities of our teams to observe their environments and surroundings alongside the training and standards that we provide before any given mobilisation.
Our goal of human factors is to reduce human error, increase productivity, and enhance safety and comfort with a specific focus on the task in hand.

Our three main ethics are:

Experience – Experience is a key function to fulfil any task safely and all our staff are industry standard trained and competent in all their relevant roles.

Civility – Civility is an attribute that costs nothing, and it creates a sound working environment. Our employees understand this role fully and respect their colleagues in a mature and approachable manner.

Observation – Observation and communication skills are fundamentally important to ensure safe operations. Without these aspects we could not look after each other’s safety, we focus on past experiences and lessons to learn and grow through continuous improvement.

Alongside our HSEQ strategies we form an application of our psychological and physiological principles. We ensure that the Mind Management is instilled to all our employees as a minimum at the beginning of each induction. This helps them to understand our expectations and contribute to their daily roles and responsibilities more clearly.

Safety is PARAMOUNT to us at Abseiling Services. We place the safety of site personnel above everything else, ensuring everyone is playing their part and that they are in alignment with all HSEQ procedures.

Our key focal HSEQ areas are:

• Identification, assessment, and management of HSE risks, workplace health and hygiene issues and promotion of fitness for work strategies.
• Compliance with the client’s commitments and obligations, with aims to exceed them.
• Provision of training and development opportunities for our people, to ensure awareness of and competency in our HSE management system.
• Provision of a safe workplace, plant and equipment.
• Documentation, monitoring, inspection, audit, review and continual improvement of the performance of our HSE Management System.
• Compliance with, and where appropriate exceeding applicable legal requirements.
• A planned and systematic approach to achieving client and legislative requirements.

We are always continually striving to achieve our goal of ‘absolute no harm’, whilst minimising the impact of our operations on the environment. Our goal is to hurt absolutely no one at Abseiling Services and our Rope Access team work continuously with our HSE team, accumulating data which helps us create performance targets that are in line with the requirements of our clients.

So far, our performance targets are:

• Zero Fatalities
• Zero Lost Time Injuries
• Zero Environmental Incidents
