As leading providers of Fall Protection Services, we offer the Horizontal SecuRail Pro lifeline on ground—a highly rigid and versatile fall arrest rail system. Unlike cable-based lifelines, this unique rail profile has a high inertia, making it ideal for work sites where low fall clearance is a critical safety factor.
The SecuRail Pro provides reliable, smooth, and secure horizontal fall arrest protection, ensuring a stable environment for workers in Scotland.
The SecuRail Pro offers distinct performance and structural advantages:
The rail is a rigid, anodized aluminium profile with a high inertia, which allows for a generous span of up to 6m (20′) between supports. This rigidity results in very low deflection in the event of a fall, significantly reducing the required fall clearance below the work area. The rail itself is lightweight at only 1.7kg/m (1.14lbs/ft).
The GRANVIA fall arrest trolley is equipped with rollers that glide smoothly along the track, easily following the user’s movement. For maximum security, anti-derailment claws are mounted between the rollers, keeping the trolley firmly on the track at all times.
The same GRANVIA trolley is designed to work for both inclined and horizontal lifelines. This versatility allows for the assembly of horizontal lifelines with sloped sections all in one continuous track, avoiding the user’s disconnection and ensuring continuous safety. The trolley itself can be used for ground, wall, and ceiling configurations of the rail.
The rail system is made from anodized aluminium and is designed to naturally absorb thermal dilatation and contraction. We also offer the possibility of custom-made solutions with the Fallprotec’s engineering department to meet specific project needs. The minimum radius for curved sections is 330mm (13″).
The system is approved for 2 users and has a maximum span of 6m (20′).
The SecuRail Pro is the preferred solution for environments where rigid horizontal safety is mandatory, including:
Rooftops with low parapet walls or obstacles beneath Industrial platforms and machinery access areas Areas where continuous connection is required across changing slopes Any site requiring minimal cable deflection in a fall
The SecuRail Pro is categorised as a Type D anchoring device and complies with the highest international safety standards: EN 795:2012 Type D, CEN/TS 16415:2013 (multi-user), and ASSP/ANSI Z359.6 & CSA259.16.
