The SafeAccess rail, often combined with the Flexbow outrigger beam, offers a rigid, robust, and highly adaptable solution for securing workers, particularly in demanding environments like petrochemical sites and machinery access points.

Rigidity and High Performance

The SafeAccess is an undeformable fall arrest rail designed for maximum reliability. The system is lightweight at 5kg/m (3.35 lbs/ft) yet offers a considerable span of 6m (20′) between supports.

When combined with a safety block, the SafeAccess rail enables the safest possible fall arrest scenario due to its rigid design and low deflection.

Specialized Industrial and Material Compliance

• ATEX Certified: The rail is manufactured from ATEX certified Aluminium 6060T6, making it ideal for potentially explosive atmospheres and the petrochemical industry.
• Corrosion Resistance: The aluminium rail is protected by a high-quality powder coated surface treatment that specifically resists the corrosive effects of a marine environment.
• User Movement: The NAV 2 trolley, equipped with rollers, follows the user smoothly without any action from the end user, ensuring continuous, hands-free safety.

Flexbow Integration (Loading Bays and Machinery)

The Flexbow is a standardized outrigger beam designed to secure loading bays and machinery. It is a lightweight yet robust design for industrial applications with a minimum fall clearance of 4m (13′).

• Integrated Energy Absorber: The Flexbow is equipped with an integrated energy absorber.
• Foldable System: The Flexbow and SafeAccess rail can be designed with a rotatory junction and a rotatory lock kit, allowing the system to be folded away when not in use.
• Configurations: Several configurations are available (mobile, fixed on ground, fixed on wall).

System Capacity and Customisation

The SafeAccess rail is rated for 4 users (EN) / 2 users (USA & Canada). When used with the Flexbow system, it is rated for 2 users. We offer the possibility of custom-made solutions with the Fallprotec’s engineering department to meet any unique project requirement.
